Hey friend—some of you know me well, and some of you are just now joining me on this journey. Either way, I’m so glad you’re here.
My name is Erica Nunn.
I’m a wife to my high school sweetheart and a proud mama of three beautiful, thriving daughters - one of whom joined me early in life and shaped me in more ways than she’ll ever know.
I’m a Registered Nurse with over 12 years of experience in Med/Surg, Postpartum, Education, and now Intensive Care. My career in healthcare has opened my eyes and strengthened my heart. I've seen struggle, resilience, healing—and it’s deeply impacted who I am today.
But those are just titles. Who am I?
I am a child of God—grateful beyond words for His grace, mercy, and the path He’s laid before me.
I am someone who believes that even when life isn’t ideal, there is always something to be thankful for.
I believe in family, growth, hard work, and doing what it takes to show up as the best version of YOU—even when it’s hard. Especially when it’s hard.
It all really started after I had my second daughter. Something about growing a life for nine months and becoming responsible for another human made me stop and look at my own.
I started moving more—walking, light workouts, just staying active. Nothing fancy. But I stuck with it, and over time, it became part of my identity. Today, I treat my workouts like brushing my teeth—non-negotiable. It’s just what I do. If it means a 4 AM alarm, then 4 AM it is. Of course, I’m human—sometimes I miss a day—but I hate letting myself down, and I always come back stronger.
Back then, I had no idea that what I was really building wasn’t just muscle—it was discipline, self-respect, and freedom.
Freedom from excuses.
Freedom from the lie that life should always feel comfortable.
Freedom from the version of me that thought “just getting by” was enough.
I learned that self-development is non-negotiable.
You’ve got to
keep growing.
You’ve got to
stay aware of what you're feeding your mind.
Who are you around? How do you feel after spending time with them? Are they pouring into you or pulling you down?
What are you listening to, watching, speaking over yourself?
Your mindset is everything. And trust me, I wasn’t always in the right headspace—but I’ve done the work to change that. I’ve had to silence the voice that told me I wasn’t capable, strong enough, or worthy. And now I teach other women to do the same.
I went through nursing school with three kids at home, a husband working hard, a house to manage, and all of life’s chaos on my shoulders. Then came full-time work, overtime, and multiple jobs. We built houses. We faced COVID. My husband started a business and left his job. We raised teenagers. Marriage, motherhood, career, life—it’s been a ride.
But guess what?
I never stopped
showing up.
Even if I had to scale back or rework the plan—I kept going.
I’ve made mistakes. I’ve overeaten, undereaten, tried to outwork a bad diet, fell off track, and learned many lessons the hard way.
But I always came back. I kept climbing. And I always found the next mountain to conquer.
Today? I’m the fittest I’ve ever been—inside and out.
I feel strong, confident, and capable. I’ve maintained a healthy weight for over 7 years—not because of a magic pill or a trend—but because I committed to a lifestyle. I understand the science. I respect the process. And I believe in the power of one good decision leading to another.
This is what I want to share with you.
It’s not just about workouts and food (although those matter)—it’s about creating a life you love by design.
Is it easy? Nope.
Will it be uncomfortable? Absolutely.
Will you have setbacks? For sure.
But is it worth it? Without a doubt—YES.
You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to be willing.
This is a lifelong journey—and the beautiful thing is: it only gets better.
